Denominationalism (at least at the time of the Reformation) was done for the purpose of allowing individual believers to Study Scripture and to come to their own conclusions. Today denominationalism has become the inverse.

So my point is, Scripture makes it clear your love for others, which produces action and behaviors that benefit others, is how you serve Christ, and one another, and is in fact, being Christian.
