How do you define a ‘Cult’?

How do you define a cult? How do you accurately determine if a group is just different, strange, or its actually a religious cult? This defines my criterion.

Who cares if Christmas is Pagan?

If you are like me – you are probably tiring of the hearing people calling Christmas ‘pagan’, as if the other things they do in life are any more non-pagan. Just celebrate Christmas, be close to family, share cheer, love, charity and hope!

Combatting Spiritual Abuse: You should let it go!

I hear that phrase, a lot. Just move on. Let it go. Stop letting it control you. Forget. Forgive. Erase. Ignore. Stop focusing on it. Turn around. Find a new focus. More importantly, the organization I am most familiar with, being the Oneness Pentecostal Church, which is rife with spiritual […]

Vague Dogmas: Series Introduction

Has someone ever said something to you and you thought, “That’s not in the Bible!”

I Backslid Into Jesus

The majority of Christendom is familiar with the term ‘Backsliding’, referencing someone who has moved backward in their relationship with God, rather than forward, closer to God. The term is naturally used negatively, often with scorn to identify someone who ‘walked away from God’ and is always used to pre-judge […]

If you ever feel like the pastor is on the Throne of God, or that his words supersede the Word of God – or that he deserves your devotion, you may be a victim of Pastor Worship
