Fundamentally Flawed: A Preface to the Book

The stories are endless, and many more will be shared, mine included. Fundamental Christianity may well be the problem with Christianity, alongside hyper-progressive Christianity. Through these stories, my hope is to find redemption, and balance, and connection with a faith that was meant to include and protect and bless those whom fundamentalism (Pharisaical Judaism) had rejected.

Is Malachi 3 after the New Testament Church? Are we misusing it?

To me, it has become abundantly clear, that the use of Malachi 3 to teach and propel a message of Tithing into the New Testament church is a misappropriation of Scripture. While Paul taught clearly in II Corinthians 9:6-7 that God loves a cheerful giver, and that our reaping will be commensurate with our sowing, he equally taught that our giving was no longer obligatory (tax, tithe) and that we were to give as we felt led to in our heart.

Slain in the Spirit – Fact or Fiction?

A great charismatic marketeer Benny Hinn swings his signature white jacket at a person or a crowd of people and in waves, they crumble under the ‘power’ of the spirit. At least, that is the claim.

These events are usually then marked with subsequent and equally un-biblical traits such as convulsions, twitching, trances or being rendered unconscious.
